View the e-invoice as the Revenue Agency shows it
How to view and print an e-invoice with the official Italian Revenue Agency stylesheet, exactly as the recipient sees it.

What it is for
The Nanus PDF is a courtesy copy with your layout. The real invoice is the XML file: to read it the way the Revenue Agency’s Fatture e Corrispettivi portal and the customer’s software show it, Nanus renders it with the official stylesheet of the Italian Revenue Agency. It helps you check what the customer will receive or answer a question about a specific detail.
How to do it
- Open the invoice from Documents.
- Tap More and choose View the e-invoice.
- The E-invoice page opens with the note “Shown with the official stylesheet of the Italian Revenue Agency, as the recipient sees it”.
- To print it tap Print; to go back to the invoice tap Record.
What you see
- all the data in the file: supplier, customer, lines, VAT summary, payment, references, withholding, stamp duty, declared attachments;
- for invoices to a public administration the public administration format stylesheet, for the others the business-to-business one;
- on a phone the page fits the screen width.
The same view exists for purchase invoices: from the recorded purchase choose More → View the e-invoice. For any XML file there is the viewer on the Home page.
Download the XML file
From the same record More → Download XML saves the invoice file: it has the name used when it was sent to the SDI or, if it has not been sent yet, the one it would have. It downloads only if the invoice passes the checks.
Frequently asked questions
Why does it look different from the PDF?
The PDF follows the layout chosen in the print settings; the readable view shows the XML file with the official look, without customisation.
Does it work with a draft invoice?
Yes: it shows the file as it would be sent.
