This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Italian version is the legally binding one and prevails in case of any discrepancy.
In short: the nanus.it website does not use cookies and only stores your light or dark theme in the browser, if you choose one. The Nanus application uses a single technical cookie, needed to keep you signed in. We do not use profiling, analytics or third-party cookies, and therefore we do not ask for your consent.
What cookies are
Cookies are small files that a website stores in your browser to remember information from one page to the next. Technical cookies make the service work; profiling cookies track behaviour for advertising or analytics and require consent.
The nanus.it website
The marketing pages do not store cookies. They contain no analytics, advertising, maps, embedded videos or social media buttons. Even the fonts are hosted on our own server, so no data is sent to external services. The assistant chat connects to our server only when you open it; how we handle messages is explained in the privacy notice.

The app for Windows, macOS and Linux keeps your data in a folder on your computer and does not use third-party cookies.
Why there is no banner
Under the Guidelines of the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) of 10 June 2021, technical cookies do not require consent. If we ever add tools that do, we will ask for consent before enabling them and update this page.
How to manage cookies
You can delete cookies and site data from your browser settings. If you delete
nanus_sessione you will simply need to sign in to the application again.
