How Nanus picks the price

When you pick a product in a document, the price comes from here, in order:

  1. the price reserved for that customer in the product record, which also overrides their usual discounts;
  2. the product’s dedicated price in the price list assigned to the customer;
  3. the price list markup, on the base price or on the purchase cost;
  4. the product’s base price.

In the last three cases the cascading Discounts from the customer record are then applied.

Create a price list

  1. Open Products → More → Price lists and tap New price list.
  2. Enter a Code (no spaces, cannot be changed later) and a Description.
  3. In Markup % enter the percentage (negative for a discount); empty means only the prices written in the products apply.
  4. In Calculated on choose Base selling price or Purchase cost.
  5. Tap Save.

Assign price lists and prices

  • In the customer record, under Commercial terms, choose the Price list (empty: Base price list).
  • In the product record, Price lists section, enter a dedicated price for each list; the hint in the field recalls the list’s rule.
  • In the Prices reserved for customers section use Add a price for, pick the customer and enter Price and any Discounts (e.g. 10+5). Remove deletes it.

Print the price list

  1. At the bottom of the Price lists page open Print price list.
  2. In Prices choose Base prices or a price list, in Category a category or All.
  3. Tick Prices including VAT (retail) if you need retail prices.
  4. Tap Download PDF.

Edit and delete

Tap the price list code to change its description, markup and base, or to delete it. A price list assigned to customers cannot be deleted: remove it from their records first.
