Enter your company details
Company name, VAT number, tax regime, address, bank accounts and contacts: the details Nanus puts as the supplier on every invoice.
- Where to find it
- Settings → Company details
What it is for
Your company details become the cedente (the supplier issuing the invoice) on every e-invoice and are used to transmit invoices to the SDI (Sistema di Interscambio, the Italian e-invoicing exchange system). Until they are filled in, Nanus does not prepare invoices and shows: “Your company details are missing: fill them in under Settings before preparing invoices.”
Here you also set the values proposed in new documents: the account for payments received, default payment terms, shipping charges, withholding tax and pension fund.
How to do it
- Open Settings and tap Company details. On a smartphone the list of categories appears first, then the chosen category.
- In the Your company section choose Company or Sole trader / professional: for a company enter the Company name, for a sole trader First name and Last name.
- Fill in Country, VAT number and Tax code, then choose the Tax regime.
- In the Address section enter Address, Postcode, Town and Province.
- If you need them, complete Payments received, Withholding tax and pension fund, Contacts and Transmission intermediary.
- Tap Save at the top (or Ctrl+S on a computer).
You can type codes such as country, province and tax code in lower case: Nanus saves them in upper case. Save is enabled only when there is a change to save.
Main fields
- Tax regime: the FatturaPA RF code, for example
RF01ordinary regime orRF19flat-rate regime (forfettario). - Cash accounting for VAT (art. 32-bis DL 83/2012): for businesses with turnover up to 2 million euro. Invoices to customers with a VAT number carry the deferred chargeability and the legal note; towards private customers and with split payment VAT stays immediate. With the flat-rate regime the option is hidden.
- Shipping charges: an amount added automatically to new documents, excluding VAT, at the VAT rate of the goods sold; with Free above a taxable amount of it is not applied above a threshold. You can remove or change it in each document.
- Payments received: IBAN and BIC/SWIFT of the main account, proposed on invoices and used for RiBa and SDD. Under Other accounts add up to ten accounts with an Account name, to choose invoice by invoice.
- SIA code, CUC code and SEPA creditor identifier: provided by your bank and needed for RiBa and SDD batches.
- Default payment terms: the payment terms used when the customer has none.
- Withholding tax and pension fund: for professionals, values proposed in every new invoice and editable invoice by invoice.
- Transmission intermediary: only if an intermediary, for example your accountant, sends invoices to the SDI. Enter Country and Intermediary tax code; otherwise your VAT number is used as the transmitter.
What Nanus checks
- An Italian VAT number must be valid, check digit included.
- You need either a company name or first and last name.
- IBAN and BIC must be valid, for the other accounts too; the same IBAN cannot appear twice.
- If you add other accounts, the main account is required as well.
- The SEPA creditor identifier must have correct check digits (for example
IT66ZZZA1B2C3D4E5F6G7H8).
With any of these errors nothing is saved and the message appears next to the field to fix.
Who can change them
The owner and collaborators can change the company details. The Accounting, Sales, Warehouse and Read only roles see them read-only.
Frequently asked questions
If I change my address, do invoices already sent change?
No. Invoices already transmitted to the SDI stay as they were sent; the new details apply to the documents you prepare from then on.
Do I need to fill in the intermediary if I send with my own PEC?
No. That section is only for when someone else transmits on your behalf. With the Aruba channel Nanus sets the transmitter by itself.
