What it is for

RiBa (ricevute bancarie, Italian bank receipts) and SDD (SEPA Direct Debit, a debit on the customer’s account) are presented to the bank in groups, with a batch. Nanus gathers the items to present, prepares the file to upload to online banking (the CBI RiBa layout or the CBI SDD XML message), prints the batch and, when the bank credits it, marks the instalments as collected.

Before you start

  • In Settings → Company details → Payments received: the Italian IBAN you present the batch on; for RiBa the SIA code, for SDD the CUC code and the SEPA creditor identifier, which your bank gives you.
  • In the customer’s record, Bank section: for RiBa ABI and CAB (taken from the IBAN if it is Italian); for SDD the IBAN, the SDD mandate reference, the Mandate signature date and the SDD scheme (CORE or B2B).
  • Invoices need payment terms with the RiBa method for RiBa, or SEPA Direct Debit (also CORE or B2B) for SDD.

How to create a batch

  1. Open Due dates → Receivable and tap Bank batches.
  2. Choose RiBa or SDD and tap New RiBa batch (or New SDD batch).
  3. Optionally limit the items with Due up to.
  4. For RiBa One item per customer and due date is ticked: invoices of the same customer with the same due date go into a single item. Untick it to get one item per instalment.
  5. Check the list: items without errors are already ticked; tick or untick as needed.
  6. Tap Create batch.
  7. In the batch tap RiBa file (or SDD file) and upload it to online banking; PDF prints the batch.

Only open receivable instalments with the right method that have not already been presented are included. Each item’s amount is the instalment’s outstanding balance. Batches are numbered per year and type (“RiBa batch 3/2026”).

With One item per customer and due date the item’s amount is the sum of the instalments’ outstanding balances, less the customer’s credit notes still open, which are offset on their first item. The description in the file lists the documents in Italian, for example “FATT. 2262 DEL 3/9/26, FATT. ACC. 2446 DEL 21/9/26, NOTA CRED. 2256 DEL 2/9/26”; beyond 80 characters it is shortened (“FT. 2262 3/9/26,FT.ACC. …”) and ends with “...”. SDD debits stay one per instalment.

Credit and unpaid items

  1. When the bank credits the batch, open it and tap Credit.
  2. Enter the Credit date and tap Record credit: all instalments are recorded as collected on that date, including those gathered in a single item; offset credit notes are recorded as an offset.
  3. If an item bounces, tap Unpaid on its row and confirm: the receipt is removed and its instalments can be presented again in a new batch.

The item’s page keeps the link to the batch and the note “Unpaid on …”.

What Nanus checks

  • The company IBAN, SIA code, CUC or creditor identifier is missing: the warning links to Complete the details in Settings.
  • The customer’s ABI and CAB (RiBa), or a valid IBAN or the signed mandate (SDD), are missing: the row stays unticked, with a fix the customer link.
  • It warns you if a due date is today or already past and leaves the bank no time to process the item.
  • If the offset credit notes exceed the invoices of an item, the item cannot be presented: the row stays unticked and shows the net amount.

A batch can be deleted (More → Delete) only before it is credited, and its instalments go back to be presented. After the credit you must first use Undo credit, which removes the recorded receipts.
