Activity log: who did what
Review sign-ins, data changes and account security changes, filter by person, area and dates and export a CSV.
- Where to find it
- Settings → Users and sign-in → Activity log
What it is for
The activity log shows who did what and when: sign-ins, sign-outs, failed sign-ins, every creation, change and deletion of data, and account security changes (two-step verification, passkeys, passwords, desktop app connected). Entries are kept for 365 days. Only the owner can view it.
How to do it
- Open Settings → Users and sign-in and, at the bottom, tap Activity log.
- Narrow down with the Person, Area, From and To filters.
- Read the entries: Date and time (with the IP address, when available), Event with person and document involved, Result.
- Tap the number or Open the record to open the document or contact affected, if it still exists.
- Tap Export CSV to download the filtered entries as a spreadsheet.
The screen shows the 200 most recent entries: narrow the filters or export the CSV to see them all.
How to read entries
- Data changes appear as Create, Edit or Delete followed by the area: Contacts, Documents, Delivery notes, Purchases, Inventory, Accounting, Settings, Users and security.
- The Result is a code: below 400 the operation succeeded, from 400 upwards it failed and is highlighted.
- In the desktop app, operations done on the main workstation appear as This computer.
- Operations done by other programs with an API key appear with the key’s name.
Special cases
The log is not part of the backup and is not restored: after a restore the record of what happened before stays. Automatic checks with nothing to do, such as opening the app when automations have already run, are not recorded.
Frequently asked questions
Can a collaborator view the log?

I see a sign-in I do not recognise: what should I do?
Change your password, turn on two-step verification and sign out the devices you do not know from Signed-in devices.
