See and sign out signed-in devices

Check which devices your Nanus account is open on and remotely close the session on a lost phone or a shared computer.

Open in Nanus

What it is for

Every time you sign in with your account from a browser, a session opens on that device. Signed-in devices lists every session still open and lets you close them remotely: useful if you lost your phone, used a computer that isn’t yours or notice a sign-in you don’t recognise.

The section is there for accounts (cloud and sign-ins over the local network of a desktop app); each person only sees their own devices.

How to do it

  1. Open Settings → Users and sign-in and open the Signed-in devices section (the number of open sessions is next to the title).
  2. For each row you see the Device, described by browser and system (for example Chrome · Windows), and Last used. The device you are using is labelled This device.
  3. Next to the session you want to close, tap Sign out: that device will need to sign in again.

The session of the device you are using has no Sign out button: to leave, use Sign out in the menu with your company name.

When sessions close

  • 30 days after sign-in the session expires and the device asks you to sign in again.
  • Sign out closes that device’s session.
  • Changing your password from Settings closes all other sessions.
  • Choosing a new password from the reset link closes all sessions.
  • If the owner removes your access to a company, your sessions in that company close.

Special cases

  • Last used is updated about once an hour, not on every click.
  • If a device was last used long ago and you no longer use it, sign it out: you lose no data.
  • Whoever manages users sees sign-ins, sign-outs and failed sign-ins in the company Activity log.

If you find a device you don’t recognise, sign it out and change your password straight away; consider two-step verification too.
