The Nanus guided tour

A one-minute walk through the main features, with a bubble next to each element. How to start it, move through it and replay it whenever you like.

What it is for

The tour introduces, in one minute, the parts of Nanus you will use every day. Each step highlights an element on the screen and explains it in a bubble. It changes nothing: you can take it and retake it whenever you like.

How to start it

  • From the Home page, in the invitation New to Nanus? A one-minute walk through the main features., with Guided tour.
  • At the end of the initial setup, with Take the guided tour.
  • In the cloud, from the menu with your company name at the top right → Guided tour.
  • On a smartphone, from More → Guided tour.
  • At the bottom of Help, in the Need more? box, with Guided tour (this is the way to use in the desktop app).

The tour always starts from the Home page: if you are elsewhere, Nanus goes back there by itself.

What it shows

  • Search and ask: the universal search bar.
  • Quick actions and To do on the Home page.
  • Documents and Customers and suppliers in the left column.
  • Create and All features in the smartphone bar.
  • Settings and Help.

The tour skips steps that are not on your screen: on a computer it does not show the smartphone bar, on a phone it does not show the left column, and people with a limited role do not see the parts they do not use. The counter at the top (for example 3 of 7) only counts the steps shown.

How to move through it

  • Next and Back move between bubbles; at the last step Done closes the tour.
  • On the keyboard use the right and left arrows; Esc closes the tour.
  • The X at the top of the bubble (Close the tour) ends the tour at any time.

Special cases

Once you have finished or closed the tour, the invitation on the Home page no longer appears on that device. You can also remove it straight away with Don’t show again. Either way the tour stays available from the menu, from More and from Help.

Frequently asked questions

Can I replay the tour?

Yes, as often as you like: from the menu with your company name, from More on a smartphone or from the button at the bottom of Help.
