Open in Nanus

What it is for

It is the quick look before you call a customer, chase a payment or accept a new order: how much they bought, how much they still owe and whether they are late. For a supplier it shows how much you bought and how much you owe.

What it shows

  • Sold in the current year and, if not zero, in the previous year (for customers): taxable amount excluding VAT, net of credit notes.
  • Purchased in the current year (for suppliers), calculated the same way.
  • To collect and To pay, with of which overdue when instalments are past due.
  • Open items, earliest due first: date, document number, instalment (e.g. 2/3), days late and remaining amount. With more than five, All due dates appears.
  • The latest documents, up to ten: date, type, number and total. For a customer/supplier each is marked Sale or Purchase.

How to use it

  1. Open Customers & suppliers and tap the contact’s name.
  2. At the top you find the Overview section, already open.
  3. Tap an open item to open the due date and record a payment or a reminder.
  4. Tap a document to open the sales invoice or the purchase.

Who sees it and when

  • Only users with access to accounting: for a role without it the section does not appear.
  • Only for a saved contact with documents or open items: a new one has nothing to show.
  • Sales and purchase totals are in euros, also for documents in a foreign currency.

Frequently asked questions

Why can’t I see the Overview in the record?

Because the contact has no documents or open items yet, or because your role has no access to accounting.

What counts as overdue?

Instalments whose due date has passed and that are not fully paid; next to each you see the days late.
